You are right...got it when it and a few others were on sale...

Wonderful shot

Nice climb out but you got to work those rudders to keep that tail on the center line on climb out unless you are changing course... ;)

We have/had a Member here who owned and flew his Cessna 177 Cardinal with its high level, strut-less wings!

I think it is classed as a rather luxurious aeroplane, (and probably expensive!)... :D ...!

A friend of mine had one here, hangered in Bredasdorp (my hometown) down in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. He taught me years ago how to fly using that aircraft... wonderful experience, although sometimes a difficult and tricky plane to fly since it had a solid rear elevator (like a fighter jet) :D

I am including a couple of images about the plane. His Cardinal was a 177B as well and was registered as ZS-RAP. This was in the late 90's and early 2000's. The airfield we use was a dirt strip of about 820 m x 20 m <<q
