loosen up the controls in pos plane if possible

Postby bombardier » Sat Jun 25, 2016 3:51 pm

hello to all:

I just downloaded project opensky plane air france sky team. nice plane panel looks great, flies great but, is there a way to loosen up the controls to make it easier to turn and to climb and descent. maybe in the aircraft cfg folder if so is there any numbers need to be change? or is it in the plane itself. in which case i will need to fly the plane as is.

just asking

Hi bombardier

I hope this helps... go to your specific aircraft's folder and open the "aircraft.cfg" file in notepad. Scroll down and find the part that looks like this:

Increase the values ever so slightly and keep increasing/testing until you find that the control of the aircraft is to your liking. Be careful with the number to the left of the decimal... rather keep increasing the numbers to the right of the decimal.

hello gripenflyer:

I got the rudder and the elevator to my liken. now the turning part I cannot get I adjusted the ailerons effectiveness from 1.75 that came with it to up to 1.80 nothing happened. I just keep on trying.

how about yaw stability, and roll stability can I adjust that? just thinking.

I would bump it up to 2.00 and see if that is too much or noticeable difference. You have the start off numbers go big to see if you can make a difference. I would not add stability to it, If not mistaken more stable is going to make it more sluggish.

Hi Bombardier,

Just a thought, have you considered the autopilot bank angle control adjustments?
