Yanco - no upgrade, the reason it looks better as with all my Aircraft is my SECRET Custom "Reflection Textures" that I use.

Global Reflection Textures

and I've got all my Aircraft Texture settings on High / sliders all the way to the right for Aircraft Textures with FSX.

That and I use XFX Radeon 270 Graphics Video Card with its settings set to show Reflections to the Max.

you might try adjusting you settings Sliders in FSX, see what happens

My Lockheed Constellations look way better now as well as All my Vintage Jetliners - 707'S DC8's L-188 Electras and my Dehavilland Comet Jetliners

Okkkkkkk,,,, all you Chrome Reflection Freaks out there,, heres how I get such good Chrome Reflections off my Aircraft.

Keep in mind now - that some of it will depend on the Aircraft itself, how the files were made !!!

If the Aircraft Designer DID NOT do the file correctly - then it will NOT show up that well as a Chrome / Aluminum Reflection

Also - You'll need to check your settings in your Flight Simulator menu and slide your "Global Texture Resolution" to very High !!!!

Find that Slider under your "Graphics" menu section within your Flight Simulator.

Notice the Difference between the "DEFAULT" Global Enviroment AC Texture and the Custom Global Enviroment AC Texture ?????????

Big Difference, both in Clarity and the Image itself , much clearer and better rendered

The New Custom Global Enviro AC Textures will Reflect off the Chrome / Aluminum much better than the Default kinda blurry texture.

Also helps if you have a fairly decent Video Graphics card installed in your computer with its settings set correctly.

The download for the Global Enviro AC Textures I found on that other site  See Screen shot of the one you'll need and want.

Also screen shots of the FSX Default Global Enviro AC Texture - and the Custom Global Enviro AC Texture

Don't forget to KEEP your ORIGINAL Global Enviro AC Textures in case these don't actually work for you or do you any justice.

I remember from brochures of PAA, where my father used to fly to México in the middle of last Century Fox, it was reffered to as Strato Cruiser. My question: ¿why have two registers on the tail/rear fuselage? ¿HC-AGA or HC-AFS? :obscene-drinkingcheers:

Congratulations for great aluminum finishes!! <<q Jean

So hows that working on other Aircraft for ya still ???

For those of ya that haven't tried those other "Global Enviro Textures", its Highly recommended that ya do ~ !!!

The textures can make a lotta your Aircraft really come alive, and its a very simple install !!

Some of it will depend on your Aircraft Texture files, and also I noticed it will only work if the Aircraft has the proper "FALL-BACK" File in the Aircraft Texture folder - without that "FallBack File", it won't read the Reflection to give the Aircraft !!!

most Aircraft already have that Fall Back file in place, so all ya have to do is copy it into the Aircraft your wanting to get better results.
