Screen view-point info messages.

FS9 has red information messages that appear in the top right of the screen when the view-point is changed. I want to reduce the time they stay there. I'd be grateful if someone can tell me how to do this.
I've looked through the FS9CFG file but can't see anything I can change............

I don't use FS9, but it may be the same as FSX. Worth a try?

In the [Main] section either add these lines or change the values to "1" if the lines already exist. This will get rid of ALL red messages on screen (Remember to make a back up copy of your cfg)

HideInfoText=1
HideMenuFullscreen=1
HideMenuNormal=1

It didn't have HideInfoText=1 so I added it & Bingo, no messages. Many thanks for the info.

That's cool! I've been wondering for a long time now how to get rid of those pop-up messages. Once again, the SimV forums and you guys
helped me out!
