And that is why I still have my old phone that is about 6 years old. It rings when someone calls me and I can talk on it. I can still text on it if need be. It may not sing and dance like the new ones do but it dos'nt shave me when I use it I think that I will keep the one that I have.

Me too for sure..I too have a very old Ericson/MP3 player...Cutting edge at the time, some 10 yrs ago..Imagine that. Your favorite songs on a cell phone.
But I love it, it suits my purposes and much more than that...AND, It does not need to be constantly on charge as the new ones do.

Anyway, if you got some old cell phones in your scrap drawer, I suggest you keep hold of them with a bit of care. I saw on line an old Nokia 5110 sell for over £100.00.
Apparently "retro" is coming back in fashion again.
