Nothing funny here

What are you laughing at?

Nothing funny here

Postby OldAirmail » Sat Sep 13, 2014 8:31 am

At first glance there's nothing funny here.

But start thinking about it, and you just have to wonder a bit.

It may just be the angel - But is his side tilting? Good luck sleeping through the night!

Is there no place on earth that two people can get a little privacy?

That must have been a heck a of climb. And she carried a heavy book all of the way up?

SHE BROUGHT A BOOK?

MY guess is the she carried the book, AND HE CARRIED EVERYTHING ELSE!

She must have said NO more than a few times - It looks like the guy is thinking of just dropping off the edge.

If he did, would she even notice?

There's a lot more to be said, feel free to add your own observations. :D

It dawns on me that there's a male/female situation that will need to be discussed by these two people.

OBVIOUSLY, the guy isn't going to have any problem taking a leak (assuming that the wind doesn't start blowing upwards :D ).

The girl on the other hand....

Heights like that scare the heck outta me! The older I get, the worse it gets too. Oddly, I love flying. I'll look out the windows/windscreen (depending on the plane and where I'm sitting, of course :D ), but a step-stool is about as far up as I go any more... :naughty: :hand:

Having said all that, I dawns on me that your latest, about...bathroom arrangements? If she has a good grip, or they are handy and good with ropes, they could kinda hang half of her out over the edge, perhaps? The UPPER half of course...As long as the wind doesn't change, as you said....could be embarrassing.   Just have to be sure she's hung out far enough to miss the edge entirely...Or maybe make a quick sort of bosun's chair, lower her a little ways down...again, rope tricks are critical, and there IS the matter of bringing her back UP again...

I'll bet that she doesn't want to be 2,000 feet up with her.....um.... butt hanging out.

On the other hand, that may be why there's a sharp angle to the canvas platform, with her on the high side. :D

You can't see it, but there's a 9" hole in the canvas under each one of them. All they have to do is undo the flap on their long combs and listen for the plonk.

On the other hand, the canvas-like platform looks like it's at an angle.

Water, metaphorically speaking, runs downhill.

She's on the "high" side. :D

Exactly! No privacy anywhere.

And she's too flat chested to be one of those blond pink things that the paparazzi like to follow around.

As mrplanecrazzy said - maybe that's a "Holy Book". She wants to convert him, and he just wants to get away.

Image

Yup, he sure looks like he wishes he had spidey powers, so he could get away.
