
With the first day of Autumn only ten days away from today float flying bugsmashers in my part of the colony will soon trade in their floats for skis.
Some locations north of us have already had snow but I assume most lakes are still open for float and seaplane use.
Today it is cold, damp and wet so I decided to fire up this electronic gizmo and do a few simulated float take-offs and landings with the Cessna 172.
