Looking for MD-80 soundpack

Postby PlutonianEmpire » Fri Aug 01, 2014 2:16 pm

Hi there!

I've been looking for a while for any MD-80 sound packs that have a interior cabin sounds similar to this video:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/361 ... 20kmsp.wmv

But couldn't find any. Does one exist? If so, where can I find it?

(As for the video, I looked high and low all over the internet, since the FL350 site went down, and could not find it, so uploading it to my public dropbox was unavoidable, since I had it long before they placed whatever restrictions they may have had on public downloads, so I apologize. :( )
System Specs: HP 2000 Notebook PC; Windows 8.1 64-Bit; 4GB RAM; AMD E-300 APU w/ Radeon HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~1.3 GHz; AMD Radeon HD 6310.

Well, Plutonian, i dont think you will get many answers on that particular wmv.
Search any flight web sites under >sound< and you'll find hundreds!
You can use ANY sound from any FS. My sound folder in my FSX MD 83 is from FS2000.

Hey, not too bad :)

Personally, I was hoping for a more prominent buzzing sound, like in the video I posted in the OP, although I take it some folks might not be very fond of that?

Thanks!! At full throttle the buzz won't be as prominent, but when you reduce power for climbing the buzz will be louder. But you are right, I think too much buzzing would get annoying after a while.

Actually, I saw that earlier during my searches, but hesitated because of the file size, because of my ISP's internet data quota cap, but I went ahead and got it when you posted your link, and I noticed it sounded close, and knowing my ability to tweak my speaker settings a bit, I was able to make it sound a lot more closer to the OP than the other sounds. :) So, that's pretty much what I was looking for after all, so many thanks! I greatly appreciate it! :D
