Paul. The Cessna 210 must be one of Brett's early models. It has no DVC which is what you would normally see in side, rear & quarter views from the 2D panel in FS9 & FSX. Some older FS2000/2 models include fixed side, rear & quarter view windows as part of the 2D panel. I think this is the type you're thinking of. These do not display in FSX even if you have this type of panel. Sorry, I can't fix this but it otherwise works well in FSX.

I agree with everything you people say about FS2004. Just one thing I couldn't get was a decent Cessna 177Rg Cardinal, which is available for FSX.

Notice the absence of wing braces and the super huge door.

A Cantilever Wing....no strut braces...

I believe Brett had great affection for his Cessna 177 RG... :D ...!

Very popular with pilots!

I think you are right, Log....no 177RG for FS 2004... :( ...!

I wanted a Centurion in my Cessna stable, and took a hard look at Carenado's FS9 offering at X-Mas time. I was hoping it had a 2D Panel, but alas, it didn't. So, I went for Brett's instead. I did find a set of Repaints for Brett's C-210 over at FlightSim that were done recently...

Personally, if I had to choose a favorite in a high wing, strutless Cessna I would go for the 195. Something about a round engine... :P

Forget the fuel consumption Alan.... ;) ....

....just make sure you have plenty of oil for the trip!..... :o ...>>>

"The engines fitted to the 190 and 195 became well known for their oil consumption. The aircraft has a 5-US-gallon (19 L) oil tank, with 2 US gallons (7.6 L) the minimum for flight. Typical oil consumption with steel cylinder barrels is 2 US quarts (1.9 L) per hour"

Tail wheel...I cant see where I'm taxiing!

Oh, Paul... that's just part of the routine with a round engine! :D But just in case, I keep a few bottles (jugs? containers? Certainly NOT cans...) in the back.

Honestly though... I wish I could get my hands on the 'old' FS9 version of Carenado's C-210. At X-Mas time that $25.00 airplane goes on sale for $5.00!
