It seems such a shame....
I spend many happy hours, almost every day, Sim Flying the length and breadth of Central Valley, with its fruit orchards and vast vegetable plots with their automatic irrigation systems, "Wikipediaing" local information, studying the local maps and many photographs of the area,...
....but the idyllic illusion can be spoilt by some of the dangerous folks who live there...Fresno in particular!
Fresno is also a stop-off point for visitors to the beautiful Yosemite National Park, who are mostly unaware of the bad goings-on that occur there!
Central Valley is also populated by many State prisons, whose members, out on Parole, are generally getting up to mischief!
