What's the deal with RFP's 9 texture packs?

Postby BLAZE » Thu Dec 05, 2013 9:42 pm

I have tried and tried a hand full of times to access those files and can't. It just says some file that it needs is missing
and they will not open. I even used three different computers. NO JOY!

I've downloaded them a couple times each from different flight sim sites but the same thing happens. It's a bummer.
I really want those skins.

Listen to me.. Like I payed for them or something. What a sleaze! :shifty:

Links to the problem files would be a great help.

I think I found what you're talking about after a search. http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=Ready+For+Pushback+Livery+Pack&categoryId=

I assume the missing file is the 747-200 base package. Make sure you have this package installed first. http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=rfp_v2-1.zip&x=16&y=13
Then direct the livery package auto-installer to wherever you installed it to, for example the FS9 root directory folder.

Yes, you are right Hagar. I've been here long enough, I know better then that. Sorry!

From what you just said, It finally made a lightbulb go on in my head. Seeing how I seem to be
the only tard having this issue, I got to thinking. I have FS9/../RFP in D Drive. The auto installers must
be looking for FS9/../RFP in C Drive. What a TARD!

Now I have to figure out how to make the auto installers think FS9/../RFP is in C Drive. I'm thinking about putting
a shortcut to FS9 in C Drive. Other then that.. I don't know what I'm going to do.

Thanks Hagar

This shouldn't be a problem. You can direct the install to any location you wish. Point it at your FS9 root directory folder.

Glad I could help. Good luck.

I was a mod once, on the old original Simviation forum many moons ago. I soon discovered I'm not cut out for it.
