I'm a father, and I'm deeply proud of my daughter! Today we went to the Duxford Spring Airshow (thanks for the tickets Roger)!
I met up with my favourite cousin and her daughter and we had a wonderful time, Emi was a diamond. Every time little Charlotte wanted to run off and cause trouble Emi would grab her and talk to her about what was happening, whether it was the BBMF planes or the wing-walking girls and helped keep a 3 year old deeply interested in flying. Then when we went on walkabout in the museum she was pointing the different planes and telling Charlotte all about them then leading the way when we were touring Concorde, the Avro York etc etc.
I'm proud of Emi, and my cousin was deeply impressed with her behaviour and her knowledge. She's my little girl and the centre of my universe. She's also a serious aviation buff and Lancaster fanatic! Needless to say she's come home with some very nice new things from the airshow... and she earned everyone one of them ten times over. My little girl rocks and I couldn't be a prouder dad! More airshows this year for sure!!!
