plane of the week suggestions needed!

Postby wifesaysno » Tue Dec 18, 2012 6:34 pm

With the semester done, I am looking to write up a few of these articles. However, my brain has been beaten into mush and cannot decide on what to research.
So I am taking suggestions.
The less well known the plane is the better! (homebuilts, experimentals, and show planes included)

Fire away!

......please?

How about something from the Miles family? They're innovative and different. The Miles Gemini or the Miles Magister would be good!

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Oh, I forgot.
If going for a Miles, have a look at the Marathon.

Convair F2Y (YF-7 from 1962) Sea Dart. Experimental supersonic delta-winged flying-boat fighter jet. My grandparents worked at Convair and watched this thing on live TV when it crashed on a test flight in San Diego Bay. Really a wonderful piece of machinery. Sorry, but no image.

Try the Nordatlas 2501. It flies like a C119 and will keep you busy.
