It could be your firewall. Are you running a Windows default or a third party?

If you are running FS 2004 then there are no problems or difficulties.

The method of connecting to Multiplayer in the drop-down Menu is straightforward, and we all use it without major problems....

Take a look at the stickies at the top of this forum section for a pretty good overview of what is necessary to get multiplayer set up and working well.

best,

Do FSX and FS2004 share the same session on the simV server :-? ?
I wouldn't think so, but I guess anything is possible.

...for some reason, (connection difficulties?), I find very few Multiplayer Simmers use FSX for their on-line flights, both here and at other Sites I regularly use..!

I think there also may be problems with differing scenery (Airfield altitudes, positions, etc), between FS 2004/FSX programs

All-round, FS 2002 and FS 2004 still seem to be the most popular programs for trouble-free Multiplayer activity...!

F...G-BPLF... 8-)...!

P.S....Oh....and dont forget to LOCK your Frame Rate to 20 FPS!...!
