There have been a few over the years here. Mostly it tends to be groups of friends flying together.
I was part of the Sunday Afternoon Club for a looooooong time and every Sunday afternoon off we went chuffin' around in prearranged kites in a pre-selected area and having a good giggle.

It certainly was a good giggle ...... especially when Omag gave up landing anywhere  ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D

Sounds like fun ;D I could be a Trike/light aircraft instructor ;D ;D. Great idea for more organized multiplayer flying next to the Simv tours :D

Don't forget the limitations imposed by FS 2004 Multiplayer...;)....!

As Ozzy mentioned. only using the default aeroplanes work, (and not always reliably even then!), or alternatively every flyer has to agree beforehand to use the same aeroplanes, either default, or downloaded...!!

The way that FSX Multiplayer works may be more suitable for this type of endeavour, in that all the flyers different aeroplanes are always visible.... apparrently...;)...!

Remember, for example, in FS 2004 if it is decided to organise a Microlight Fly-in, none of the craft will be visible in their true form because they are not part of the Default list of FS 2004 aircraft!
They will all appear as Cessna 172's...:o...!

The idea is fine, but flawed by the limitations of FS 2004 Multiplayer..:'(...!

Cheers all...;D...!

Still better than FS2k2, I remember chuffin' up and down California with you once Paul and you looked like you were flying an AH-64 Apache! And I know how much you love helicopters....... ;D

I was thinking this would be aimed more at  fsx multiplayer, shared cockpits tower controller, better aircaft update rates etc wopuld make it more suitable for use with fsx

I remember getting up early on Sunday mornings (0700) to fly with a group of friends who all liked to try to land in the hangar deck of a carrier just off the California coast, near the Golden Gate Bridge ........ ;)

mainly fsx im thinking, for the shared cockpit abilities but should work with fs9 a bit since quite a few people are sticking with it ;)

..it depends upon when you last had a shower... ::)...!

Paul... ;D...!

P.S. have you ever tried to land your beloved "Concorde" on a grass strip amongst a group of Microlight flyers during a Flying Club fly-in...?
