UK and Italy Tours...Scheduled Dates...

Postby Fozzer » Thu Dec 22, 2005 7:01 am

Hello Lads...!

I don't wish to step on anyone's toes here, but might it not be a good idea to continue the flights on the scheduled days of the week, and times, providing that any members who turn up on the day, and can be seen on the servers site, are willing to continue with the flights....!

Our Jared, the organiser of the US tours, often advises that he cannot be present on the day of the tour, but the tour continues nevertheless with whatever members turn up on the day.

I think most of us are all to eager to carry out the flights on a regular basis, and are disappointed when they are delayed or deferred to another date, or time... :'(...!

Just a thought for you to mull over, Lads...;)...!

Cheers Lads... ;D...!

Totally agree with you fozzer perhaps the flight plan should be posted longer beforehand so anybody that wants to can organise it if the usual organisers aren't there.

Well i would be more than happy to have a second man to help with the planning.
What you may understand is these flights might take a bit of planning, and currently that time has been drained due to college work.
I have decided i will upload the flight plans for the whole month, not weekly.

Thank-you, James...;D...!

That would help a lot, and will enable us to pre-plan/test the route and it's details in advance... ;)...!

Cheers...!

Do you know how long i just spent planning out and typing up ALL the dates for Italy tour, to realise i have a maximum word limit on the website.

Why dont you type it up in a Word document and email it to those who regularly fly the tours, and then if we are going to be there and your not we can put up the details.

No Jake, It was for the WHOLE italy tour i was trying to upload, but i had exceeded my maximum words allowed.

Ow well, the details for the next tour are uploaded anyway, so that should be ok.

I will have to re-type it all out again, and then make it into a word document, and then send to all the regular flyers. - before next tuesday.

That should work out fine, depending if everyone has word or a other compatible office program.

Cheers.
