New rank structure

Postby machineman9 » Tue Sep 06, 2011 8:29 pm

I'm just curious on the criteria for the new rank structure post rankings. Would you be able to provide a guide to the numbers of posts required, and how the responsibilities vary depending on your rank?

I presume Colonel is the new general moderator rank, and this is by admin election still. But could you let me know about the general post rank structure.

I had a peek in the recent threads but I couldn't see anything about it.

Cheers!

Ahh, thank you for that. So does one immediately gain moderator abilities after a certain post count, or is it purely a change in the colour scheme?

Mods and Admins are appointed by Pete, they are not given out willy-nilly.
Post count doesn't affect Mods or Admins ;) We realise that things like that don't matter...
Of course being a high-posting old windbag I would say things like that ;D ;D ;D

Had to switch to the old forum style, where it simply lists the number of posts.

14 years as a Non-Commissioned Officer... being called a captain curdles the blood.

It makes me think of less superior stuff.

But a few days ago Ozzy's Rank kept changing and I didn't notice Anyone else. :-/
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Seeing as its taken me nearly 10 years to reach my current post count, not very likely I'll ever get promoted higher than Major.

It should be a different rank type like by register date and not by posting counts ,i've seen many around that in a couple month reach like 1k in posting Bs
