Have you any suggestions for additional forums or improvements?

Planespotter's Forum?

Just a suggestion.  It would be nice to compare notes with other people about where to watch or discuss issues.  I think it would be a nice addition to 'Real Aviation'  People could let other people in their paticular airport know where to go to watch takeoffs and landings.  Personally, I know of several great places at O'Hare which is supposed to be tighter than a nun's...  um, pocketbook.   ;D  I would even volunteer to moderate the thing...

Start the topics and see what response you get...get enough traffic of that type and Pete may relent and give you the forum. :)

I don't mean to compare pictures.  I suggest for instance that someone start a thread for O'hare and people from the Chicago area could reply with their favorite little noks and crannies.  Start one for Heathrow, and people from London could do the same.  Same goes for LAX, Miami, or wherever...

Oh right I see. Sorry.
The best place for spotting from Terminal 3 at Heathrow is the top storey of the short term car park ;)
That is where I spotted Concordes last commercial take-off from Heathrow from (I was catching a plane home to Hungary) 8)

Why not just use the Real Aviation forum? I severely doubt there will be the interest to warrent a new forum and the whole thing will be like those FAQ forums. I.e. Unused. :P

Well at least this suggestion is at least somewhat aviation related.

How about a consistent heading - such as 'Planespot: O'Hare southside (or whatever:wherever)'

The subject is a nice idea but I doubt merits a forum ... though I've been surprised & proven wrong before ;)
