i tried to upload some shot under 800 pix wide but the file was too large ??? ??? request from a dummie
i7-7700k ....msi geforce gtx 1060....msi z270 gaming m5 lga 1151 motherboard....CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) ram.....

You need to make sure the file size is correct. It has to be under 100k. :)

right click the fole and select properties, to see the file size.
as Saitek said, it has to be under 100k

hi, got that, but how do i change the file size? .....do i have to reduce the width and height? or?

Open it in Irfanview and when saving it again reduce the quailty slider to the suitable level. Full details in the Freeware Screenshot Section under Posting Guidelines post.
