Need help making fsx movies

Hi guys, looking for some help trying to make some videos with fsx. i already have downloaded fraps and can make a video in fsx with it, but what i dont understand how to do is, i see guys making movies showing the plane land from an outside view down to the runway, but how do you do that if you have to be in the plane in the cockpit to make a nice landing, you would have to go back after the movie was made and use an outside view to watch the landing from the outside.  but with fraps once the movie is made its done.
I thought one way to do it was to use the video recorder built into fsx, because after your done recording with it you can view it again and look at the flight from all different views, and while your doing that record using the fraps, because its nice and smooth,which would work except, the video recorder in fsx is so crappy, i have no landing gear and much lag with the built in fsx recorder, anyway i hope someone understands what im trying to ask, any help would be appreciated.

and some use cameras that let them walk outside of the plane(payware)
but there are some free ones out there, can't remember the name

You can break Fraps up into segments and then piece together the ones that look good and make a good story.

Hi guys, thanks for the information, i have figured out a way to make things work better however now i have a different problem,when i take the video and bring it into windows movie maker and place it in the collection pane then view it the movie looks nice and clear however when you drag it to the story board then view it it is all blurry,can anyone tell me how to fix that problem, thanks again for the help

Tom, do not be worried. Windows Moviemaker previewer use some sort of compression or something similar to preview your movie. so the preview quality is lower than the original. But as soon as you exported your movie, the quality will remain (that is if you select the correct output file and quality). What I am trying tp say is windows movie maker will not make a lesser quality movie than the original. just make sure you export to the desired output quality and format!
