Adding traffic kinda sucks because it takes my computer a while to load it, plus it lags soo bad on approach and landing, and I only have my traffic on like 20% I thing

For a real close up, grab a helicopter and fly right into them.
;) You'll get great sound effects too!

If my memory serves me right, I seem to remember a thump when they went off and if your close enough.  :)
