The deHavilland Beaver

Postby Thud » Mon Jun 14, 2010 7:15 pm

My Dad always loved this plane and so do I. It's just so tough.
I don't have much to say but I hope you like my shot as much as I enjoyed flying her into position.

Default Water
Default Beaver
HDE (v2) Clouds
And thanks to Nick for letting me run 40 fps while taking it!  ;D

By far, my favorite of the default planes in FSX.

It's VC is second to none among the defaults, and even amongst some of the non-default planes.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Excellent shot!

The Beaver always reminds me of the film; "6 Days and 7 Nights".... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Days_Seven_Nights

...which, I believe, encouraged Harrison Ford to obtain a DH Beaver of his own, as he liked it so much!

(As a pilot, he has a number of Aircraft, even after his Divorce from his Wife forced removal some of them!).

Paul..G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Nav... 8-)...!
