If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thinks to all for your comments. This a great download, The pilot even moves his arms when he throttles up. Do a close up and watch his movement. Great design from Iris Simulation. Also watch fly.

I have added a new scrreenshot called "Night Interception".

Also added a video of this great jet aircraft.

Make sure you watch it in 720HD and wide screen to get the full effect.

Cheers, MIke ;)

Making Videos is very addictive. It also makes you a better flyer and challenges you to learned more about the planes and what they are capable of doing. Using FRAPS in videos to get numerous screenshots also is a plus for capturing spontaneous screnshshots.

I will also thin out my my models and textures of the Iris Simulation
F-15C. They really did an excellent job when they designed this model. The detail is phenomenal. When flying for my video, I could actaully see the pilot's arm move when engaging afterburners and the movement of the detailed afterburners, control surfaces is the best. Also note the panel lines and the canopy glare on the model I used. This is the detail that make this plane a keeper.

Cheers, Mike ;)

Thanks for the comment about the video.
This Iris Simulation model has great effects as you saw. I am partial to F-15'S so I am really glad to have found such a detailed and beautiful aircraft. Everybody should have one. Look for for my next screenshots doing the "Limbo Rock" with this aircraft.

Cheers, Mike ;)

This is one truly awesome piece!  Almost feel guilty about getting it for free.

BUT!  I got a texture/effect difficulty that I can't find a way to correct.  Methinks it is the vortices thing, but it is still there even after I tried deleting that effect from the folder.

Can someone give me a clue as to how to fix this? :'(

I am not sure why you are getting the "streamers" I would get them sometimes when I flew but not that prevalent. Check out the attached video and you can see that its not prevalent or my screenshots.

Maybe you could try changing your resolution and frame settings (unlimited). I never modified the download.

For your reference, I am running an ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics card with 1 GB dedicated memory and Microsoft DirectX 10.1.

Hopefully someone may no how to eliminate or minimize this issue.

Cheers, Mike ;)
