What's the difference between a DC-9 and a MD-80 ? They look quite similar (and there is a MD-80 freeware with quite a nice VC, that works in FSX too) :P

What's the difference between a DC-9 and a MD-80 ? They look quite similar (and there is a MD-80 freeware with quite a nice VC, that works in FSX too) :P

The MD-80 is actually a second generation DC-9, it was originally going to be called "DC-9-80".

A -50 with a more recent JT8 generation on the tail.
