Are you familiar with a program called 'Celestia'?

If not, you should check it out. ;) http://celestia.sourceforge.net/

Imagine a cross between Google Earth & Orbiter, with the addon-ability of FS.

You might dig it. :)

I'll have to check that out. :)

I just tested a full moon in FS9.  It works.  You just have to rename the moon BMPs.

The only "constraints" are taht with the iews options available, it's hard to get a good look at the moon while zooming in.  The best I can get is from the VC with aircraft with no VC, parked, slewed to where the moon rises, and watch.  But as a more "crisp" moon effect, it works.  It should also work with the "Strange" moons, too.

I'll work on an FS9 upload this evening.  For now, I have to do some roof repair on the "hanger", and that's going to take a while, and probably cover me in roofing tar. :P
