TrackIR with FS9, FSX, Il-2, and SF2

Hello gents!
I have just been told I should spend my future Christmas gift money on something other than college crap...the option: either funding towards a trip to the USAF Museum (pending my dad's flight schedule) or Track IR. Given my dad is a corporate pilot and the trip would have to occur over Christmas break, I am not so sure it will work out.

My question is which TrackIR and how well does it work with FS9, FSX, Il-2, and SF2? Which one should I go with?

To HANNIBAL

The type of sim flying I do is usually very maneuver intensive: either aerobatics, dogfighting, air racing, or crop dusting.

Sounds like the TrackIR will be a big boost for me then, the hat switch and buttons are just not enough when you are constantly rolling and pulling!

Thank you for the feed back Hannibal!

*Fingers crossed the cars do not break between now and Christmas* ;D

PS For some reason I could not send you a PM...sorry

Get it....I can't sim without it now (unless I have a wrap around screen obviously :P)

4 or 5 are the ones to go for. And get a track clip pro with it as well :)

I've got it currently and love it. However I will be replacing trackir with multiple monitors in my homemade simulator here in the next 3-6 months!

I would love to do that but I do not think my wife would approve of such a setup in a 1 bedroom apartment  ;D

Just ordered my TrackIR 5...should arrive between 5-10 days  8-)
