Quick CPU question

I found a Pentium D 945 @ 3.4GHz (which I could prolly OC further), with 4Mb cache for $35.

I currently have a Pentium D 820 @ 2.97GHz with only 2MB cache.

Think its a good buy? I am trying to find something better, but I can not afford to get a new mobo, RAM, and CPU at the moment.

How much do you have to spend?

I have about 50 bucks right now. It will take me another couple months to afford a PC that will last me a while.

Which is why I am happy I found a cheap CPU!

What will doubling the Cache on the CPU do for peformance? I figure it would be worth the 35 buck CPU. (Plus S&H)

like its at least an extra 400mhz boost on each core, plus doubling the cache. I would be happy with a couple FPS boost in my fsx.
