all 3 USB PORTS DIED

I got a stumper for you. All 3 of my USB ports are dead and I can not get ANYTHING to recognize in any of them. (see signature for computer specs)
the last few things that I have installed are as follows:
I have made no other software /hardware changes.
In the device manager, it shows ...
-- Universal Serial Bus Controllers
|-- :exclamation Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
|-- :exclamation Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
|-- Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
|-- Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
|-- USB Root Hub
|-- USB Root Hub
Could someone please help shed some light as to what exactly is going on, and how the #ELL I can fix it!
Mouse does not work, External HDD with pictures/Flight sim/extra software does not work, Joystick does not work... nothing works. -- I have tested EACH on my wifes IDENTICAL computer, and they work on hers, just not on mine. So i know there is a problem with the USB PORTS.

- Saitek SST Programming Software --- now uninstalled
- Realtek Audio Drivers
