Had some extra cash so I got this little doo-dad today...  Pretty neat, takes a bit of tweaking and getting used to--STILL haven't been able to land right with it!!!  Man, I had a perfect approach (in the VC view) into Sky Harbor Int'l, with the Southwest B737-800 from here tonight and upon touchdown, horrible things happened.  Ended up stopped on apron, right wing down about 15-20 degrees...  BUT NO CRASH!  weird...

I think I gotta re-map some keys, or something... to keep from looking away and screwin' the pooch...  LOL!

Any tips/suggestions/questions about this piece of gear?

You should get FSUIPC if you don't have it already.  I really don't know how other people are using TrackIR, but for me, the key to using the TIR, is to map 2 essential functions to the buttons on your joystick or yoke.  These are 1) Reset/recenter view, 2) Enable/Disable.  You map them through FSUIPC.

So, for instance, when you are coming in to land, you recenter the view, and disable the TrackIR, with two movements of your thumbs.  If you want to sit up higher in your seat, you can just enable, sit up straight, and then disable.  It becomes second nature.

Also, EZDOK is really, IMO, an essential companion to the Track IR.
