Tablets

Sorry but I have no idea what these things do. Also don't know anyone personally, who owns one. As I understand it, they are mostly a cell phone based hardware/software product.

Are they basically just a larger screen that links up to your cell phone? I know that most of them have cameras built in.
Can someone enlighten me a bit? And tell me why I need one.. :-/

Tablet PC is basically an easy to transport and slimmed down laptop, touchscreen instead of a keyboard etc.
We use them at work quite a bit as the ones we have are more robust than a laptop.
Personally I view them as another "fashion item" for people with a bad case of status ::)

Moses was a keen advocate in the use of Tablets*.

http://www.bible-archaeology.info/stone_tablets.htm

Before the invention of Plastic they were originally manufactured from stone.
They soon fell out of favour, due to their excessive weight.
A lighter and cheaper writing medium was found in the use of old Water Reeds and a pointed stick.

Paul...taking the tablets.. 8-)...!

:) Many thanks Ozzie and Paul..  ;)
So I understand,
1  You can take them with a glass of water
2  They are sort of like a laptop idea with a touchscreen
3  They used to be very heavy and came with a 2000 year warrantee,(extra).
