Flight Control Systems???
Posted: Wed Aug 04, 2010 8:22 pmI'm interested in learning what the majority of users of FS use to fly. I would appreciate it if you would also state the brand and model of your hardware, as well as your opinion of it.
I have been using a Saitek X52 Pro for about four months, but it was back at the factory for repair for one of those months. It is now doing the exact same thing again, erratic Z rotation, which controls the rudder via twist on the joystick. It has a separate throttle with multiple buttons on both parts. When it worked right, I loved it. But now it is almost impossible to use when taxing or landing. I am convinced it is a hardware issue, but Alienware thinks otherwise. And Saitek is not responding to my emails. In any event, the problem has yet to be resolved and I am considering my options, one of which is the purchase of a new system, thus the poll.
