The high end LED TVs are impressive.
As far as the image quality is concerned, I still prefer plasma, but if you're into space saving and power saving, led is the way to go.

FridayChild... Panasonic 42" plasma

It always amazes me how they manage to get all the necessary electronic trickery inside a package that thin.... :o....!

Whatever happened to massive transformers, etc, to power a Television Set?...like in the olden days?... :o...!

Paul...still hooked on glowing Thermonic Valves!.... :-*... ;D...!

(I've got a garden shed full of them!).

I would like one. However, I don't watch enough TV to justify the cost.

My computer gaming came to a rather abrupt end when I finally got my PS3 hooked up to a 1080p 42" LED. Best looking graphics I've had so far.

I didn't mind my plasma, but I got sick of having to repair the darn thing every year because of the heat issue.

I did have a 32" LCD, but it had a really fuzzy picture and only 720p.  After some haggling with my brother, we were able to get our LED.

I feel the same way, Doug.....

My old-fashioned 15 inch, portable, colour TV, is more than I need to watch some of the mind numbing, annoying dross which is broadcast on most of the TV Channels!

The funny thing is, at the moment, I am using that TV set to listen to Digital Radio, via my separate Freeview Box and internal (powered) aerial.... :-*...!
It costs money to run...but at least it works!
My "proper" Digital Radio wont pick up any of the Digital Radio Stations!
...waste of money that was!.... >:(...!

Paul....Ken Bruce on Radio 2.... :)...!

...except, at the moment, its that truly annoying, chatterbox, Zoe Ball!.... >:(...!

I knew as soon as we bought the LED, something new & different would come out, and sure enough came the 3ds.  ::)

It'll be interesting to see how much programing will be pushed out to make purchasing one viable for daily use.

Imagine... commercials for all kinds of crap in 3d.  :P  ;D

At BestBuy I saw a TV that was as thin as my iPod Touch.
Technology is amazing.
