Logitech 3D Pro Problem(s)

Ok, I bought this stick about a year ago, worked fine until someone dumped tea on it ::) then the buttons wouldn't work, so I took it apart, cleaned it, and put it back together, all the buttons worked fine, but when I put it back together, I didn't do something right and now the rudder has two problems, 1, it is off center (when it is pointing straight, in FSX it is pointing left, when it is to the right, in FSX it is centered.) Already tried calibrating it to no avail, 2, there is no pressure on the rudder, the rudder stays where you move it, doesn't go back to neutral. I wouldn't mind #2 if I could just get it to work, I have put it together about 4 times and it still is to the left, I can't figure it out. Any help would be very much appreciated as I can't by a new stick anytime soon, I'm using my old MS sidewinder for the time being.

Sounds like you didn't get parts together properly.

Reference to 'left' and 'right' are when looking at the joystick in playing position. Mine is a Wingman Xtreme, but should be the same or similar.

Problem 1 is the 'pot' which sits a-top the white pillar.

Tim,

One more thought, if it isn't to late.

If you had the pot off the pillar: If I remember right it sits on a square pin, so possibly could be re-mounted 90* off. This could account for it being 'off-center' in the sim. Make sure the pot is at center of rotation when the wishbone is pointed to the left.
