ehm... doesnt the Thrustmaster website has drivers for download?

I think it very likely that they have x64 drivers for the cougar... it would be unbelievably ridiculous if they didn't

Thanks Harvester for the effort.  But I went through that site backwards and forwards already and also the Cougar Community sites.  Just Vista 64, there's no XP64 and the XP32 drivers don't work even in compatability mode.  There just simply isn't any XP64 support.  It is total BS and I'm returning this junk.  It didn't work for me and there are a heap of complaints about it on all the forums.

This thing looks and feels like the real thing and you wouldn't ever want to let go of it.  But inside it is utter garbage and will break in a matter of days.  I even got some spikes during throttle operation (I had basic functionality of thrust and 3 axis but nothing more because there were no drivers).  During mid military course the afterburner would light.  And when looking at FSX calibration the throttle spikes midway through travel!

This thing is total junk.  I learned my lesson.
