I just recieved my new Logitech Force 3D Pro in the mail, and everything appears to be working fine, but whenever I let go of the stick it moves forward and backwards repeatedly.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal, and why it does this?
Thanks!

Thanks, I'll try that right now.
Do you know which setting causes this to happen?

Reduce all the sliders to Zero...then gradually increase them until you are satisfied with the settings in the Flight Sim
Switch them all off if you don't like the Force Feedback effect!
Its all done by trial and error...

Hi, try reducing the 'return to centre' strength in the game controller force feedback setups, this is not the ones within FS2004, mine did the same thing, i also turned off within fs2004 the ground bumps? feedback as I found this much greater than I'd felt in reality.
Its returning to centre/null position, overshooting and coming back again, mine would do this for maybe 20 secs or so before it calmed down, dont use it now, rudder return to centre mounting point broke - same joystick!
