That was interesting.

Am hoping someone tries it and will post back here.

I wonder if the 3D effect would happen when actually looking at the screen, or it happens only because we're watching it from a flat video of it...

I just ordered a TrackIr 5 for myself... should be pretty straightforward to test with FSX or ArmA 2 once I get it.

Yay parallax!!

Cheers

I tried it but I could never get it to work. I also tried to use FreeTrack but that failed as well :(

Hmm... I guess it would take 3D glasses to have the full blown effect... nevertheless, I think the TrackIR can't hurt ;)

I have a set of the e-dimensional 3D glasses lying around... I bought them a long time ago and since I got the triple head, I've been afraid to use it lest it hurt the TH2Go and the LCDs somehow... The glasses never quite worked well, apart from FS, in which it worked quite well actually... but it took such a toll on the hardware that I eventually stopped using it.

Might give it a try someday, if I can scrounge up the nerve to risk the screen setup... or find some info that assures me it's safe.

Cheers

I use a wiimote and freetrack and it works perfectly. You just need to right bluetooth drivers, and the only wiimote that works 100% of the time is the one you get with a wii. I belive nintendo changed a few things but any wiimote will work with a little trouble.

I had to track down the right drivers for vista. I am actually using another companies drivers with my bluetooth but it works.

I will go find the list I used and post it here when I find it.
