2nd HDD?

I'm quite a novice, but am specking out a new system.  One of my questions has to do with hard-drives.  Would it be wise to get a 2nd hdd exclusively for flight sim and would it be okay to put both FS9 and FSX on that drive?  Also, would the OS go on the larger-main HDD?  Thanks.

Always remember to check they have the same RPM speed, otherwise your system will run at the slower speed ;)

It's also good to have a backup to install the OS on if your primary stops working (Just had to install vista on my FSX drive due to broken primary HDD....waiting for a replacement and can still use the computer :) )

I had planned on using a VRaptor (10k RPM) for the FSX drive and a 7200 RPM for the other hdd.  Not a good idea????

Put FSX on the fastest drive. Use the other for Windows and other stuff.
