Tips and tricks for new 24" FSX monitor ?

I want to buy a new systems for FSX.
This is what I have so far..

Processor : Intel I7 920
Cooler : Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus or Scythe Mugen 2
Mainboard : Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD 5
Memory : OCZ DDR3-1600 6GB 7-7-7-24 or Corsair DDR3-1600 6GB 7-7-7-20
GPU : XFX Geforce GTX 285 Black Edition
Case : Cooler Master Centurion 5
PSU : Corsair CMPSU 650W or OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W
HD : Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB

But the doubt starts with the monitor.....
There are so many 24" screens with almost identical specs.
They all have DVI-D (with HDCP) and HDMI connectors.
And they all have a screen resolution 1920x1080 (16:9).

* LG Flatron W2442PA-BF
* LG W2453V-PF
* Iiyama B2409HDS-B1
* Samsung SyncMaster 2494HS
* Samsung SyncMaster 2494HS

What are your opinions on the monitors (and new system) ??

Thanks,

Dennis
;)

The specs look good, PSU seems a little low, I would go with an 800W or so (gives room for expansion).  When it comes to monitors, they are all the same, essentially.  All monitors of teh same size are going to spec the same with few differences.  Goto websites like Tomshardware,and such and read reviews.

sorry for my doubts guys..
But I just did a voltage test at the Antec site.

For an I7 920 (OC to 3.60) with 3 sticks DDR memory, GTX285, SB audio PCI, DVD, 1x sata HD and and 2 case fans I need 395W

Isn't 850 watt a bit overkill then ?

I also agree on the fact that monitors can make or brake a system.

For now I am leaning towards the Samsung Syncmaster 2443BW.
Sweet 1900x1200 with DVI-D and VGA (instead of the most 1900x1080 16:9 models).

Samsung Syncmaster T240 is also still in the race.

Even though you did a voltage check on the Antec site you'll need the 750. There are just too many variables that aren't considered in theory. Heat, spikes, dips, upgrades, efficiency drops, overclocking, etc. If you go less you will invariably get lockups and weird symptoms that you can't pin down.

I have the Samsung SyncMaster 2493HM and I think you'll be pleased with the choice you're considering.

In my opinion, you should go for Samsung... 3 LCD monitors and none of them have dead pixels... ;)

I have changed the PSU to the Corsair CMPSU-850TX.
Does anybody has experience with Corsair PSU's ?
The reviews are quit good so far.

FooFighters,
  You are right, I do have a 700 Watt.  I wanted the 750 but this was on a super sale at NewEgg so I went for it.  But the 850 will definitely give you peace of mind.   8-) 8-)  The better PSUs will more likely be a lot heavier in weight too ....   good luck.  You are building a great system.
