FS9 nVidia 8800 Driver

I've recently gotten back into FS, and since I last flew in the sim I had upgraded my 8800 driver to a newer version. I booted up the sim yesterday for the first time in a few months. Watched as the main menu loaded up, and much to my horror I see the plane in the preview window with jaggies (oh the horror!)

Now, the last time I flew FS I'm positive I was running on the 169.xx driver. So, I went to device management and rolled back the driver to it's previous driver (the 169.xx).

I reloaded the sim and still saw jaggies. I decided to try loading a flight to see if it was just an issue the preview window, but alas I'm still getting jaggies in the sim's 3d world.

I've double checked my graphic settings in enhancer and they're the exact same as when I last flew the sim a few months ago. I also checked to make sure I had anti-aliasing unchecked in the sim's graphic settings (it was).

So, I guess, in short, what's the best nVidia drivers for FS9 for the 8800 series?

Thanks for any input.

Are you sure you're not using the nhancer default profile....I had to create a new profile ad manually assign it to FS9 before AA would work...

I'm pretty sure. I adjusted all the individual settings months ago, and run it as a global setting.

I have always ran enhancer with a global profile for all my gaming, rather then go through and set up individual profiles for different games/sims.

Are you still flying FS9, Mitch? Driver recommendation???

Thanks for the quick reply Mitch.

I'm running a GTX285 on driver 186.18

I still use FS9 for multiplayer etc.....when I first installed it the AA wasn't being applied, but as I said, that was fixed by creating a new profile in nhancer and manually selecting that to run when FS9 was running rather than the default one...

Just a little update.

I did as you said to do, Mitch. Set-up a specific profile for FS9 and all my jaggies were gone. So it worked!

It's odd though, as I've not had to do that before, but I'm just glad to be rid of those nasty jaggies again.

Thanks for the input!

Small reminder
The new nvidia drivers only work with the latest nhancer, not with the older versions
