Setup for programmable buttons etc on Saitek yoke

I have a Saitek yoke and pedals -which I think are amazing. But now i am getting more involvrd with the game - I wonder if there is better way to set up the keys on he set up.
Yoke
left side - elevator trimmer
right side up - Garmin
             down - ATC
             left 3d cockpit
             right 2d cockpit
Throttle unit
key 1 up flapup one notch
key 1 down one notch
key 2 up radio
        dn knee pad
key 3 up = landing lights
        dn - wheels

I am sure I can arrange it better- please help.

Bearing in mind you have a three way mode switch, the possibilities are endless. Also when you use the key assignments with in the sim itself it could not be easier. The best thing to do is go through the list, see what you like and could use and then find a button. However, don't make it to complex. You go away for a couple of weeks and spent the next session trying to remember what the commands you programmed are ;D Just because you have 20 buttons, if you only need three to get the job done.........KISS..........keep it simple stupid :D

The vast majority of aircraft out there have a trim wheel on the panel or the center console (of course there are exceptions) so I would suggest you move your trim down to one of the toggles on your throttle quadrant, then flaps, then gear. perhaps the rocker on your left yoke instead of trim could be used to move veiw point (up and down or back and forward) assuming your not using trackir.
