MS Sidewinder JS Runtime Error

Postby idahosurge » Sun May 31, 2009 9:49 am

Believe it or not I still have a MS Sidewinder Precision 2 JS.  Also believe it or not after all this time I decided this morning to program the three unused buttons.  Well when I go into the Sidewinder software and click on the Recorder tab I get this error message:

runtime error program: c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe

This is the only time I get this error.

Any ideas other than go get a LogicTech Pro JS.

Does anyone have any idea on how to resolve this?

Why don't you program the Buttons using the Flight Sim, in-game, drop-down Menu....Options...Joystick.... Assignments...?

I did not know about that, gave it a try and it worked great.

Thanks!

...Fantastic.... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

There you go Rod...
There is lots of useful information, and various tweaks, etc, available in the Flight Sim Drop-Down Menu.
It's always worth while getting familiar with all of them...;)...!

Glad you got it sorted!... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!
