headset

okay i bought a new headset yesterday and plugged it into the mic and headphone inputs in the front and the sound and mic works(i can hear myself though the speakers) but other people cant hear me on TeamSpeak. please i need help, thanks ;)

Read thru the Teamspeak setup instructions.  There are a number of possibilities for the issues.  Try different codecs for the setup....that worked for me.

Do the internal self test loopback.  Are you hearing yourself transmit back to yourself?

Here is my setup with the same ones:

The black cable is the output for the sound and the pink is for the speakers.

This is what it should look like if you have a spliter for the headphones and speakers.  They may need to share the same port.

I'm thinking about the tendency to overrlook the "obvious".

Many headsets have a little switch on the headset volume control that turns the mike on and off.  Is yours "on"?
