New System. Which is better Vista 32 or 64bit

Hi, Just built a new system for my FS9.

The specs are as follows:

Intel Core 2 quad 9550
Asus Q5 mainboard
8 gb of ram(only shows 3.5gb in 32bit)
Asus GTX 260 gpu
Vista Ultimate 32 bit.

Runs ok with sliders to the right but does not recognise the full amount of ram.

Could anyone advise whether to switch to 64bit.

Many thanks
Mark :o

Yes you should.

If i an right you will performance increase Because windows can see more RAM, thus allowing other programs to use more? ;)]

But yes get 64Bit ;)

With that set up your only option is 64 bit, or else you wont be able to use all of that RAM. Also Vista and FSX run better on 64 bit

Hi, i have 1 more question. I have heard that the drivers are not great with Vista 64 bit with my GTX260. Is this true?

Thanks

Mark

Would moving up from 32 bit to 64 bit vista be difficult?  I know it is a clean install and you would lose everything, but does Vista recognise all the hardware in the computer and install the hardware drivers (for example a GTX 280 or Velociraptor hard drive)?  I'm cureently running 32 bit and have a i7 - 940 w/ 6 GB 1600mHz RAM.  I now know that alot of my resources are not being utilized  :'(  Thanks for any recommendations.
