Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals

I got the rudder pedals for Christmas. They work, but a little too well. They also control the pitch and bank with the toe switches. It also somehow controls throttle.  :-? Is there a way to make it just control the rudder? I can't find it in the booklet that comes with it, and I'm not exactly a smarty when it comes to this stuff, well not yet.  ;)

You need to re-assign the axis controls to the appropriate ones in the joystick setup.  These are done through the main settings screen in the sim.  Then calibrate the stuff after it is assigned.

The pedals should control the rudder and the tipping action should control the left and right toe brakes.

You can also utilize the payware version of FSUIPC to really tweak the controls.....far better than the default Windows joystick handling.

best,

Okay, I've been messing with this, but no luck. It gives me all the axis sliders for throttle, elevators, ailerons, and rudder. I have the effectivesness and null zones. I'm not exactly clear on how to set these to make it work. I've tried a few things, but I can't seem to get it. Also, how do you assign the toe brakes?

ok, in the FS controls setup screen, go to 'Axes'... there you will see a drop list with your controllers listed

choose the Rudder Pedals

the control list below will chance to display the assignments for that particular controller, in this case, the pedals

first, clear out all assignments by selecting them and clicking 'clear jostick assignment' below

then, assign the rudder axis to the rudder action, and left and right brake axis to it's respective toe (and reverse the left/right brake axes)

then goto 'sensitivities' tab... again choose your pedals in the drop list and check the 'advanced' sensitivity/null zone option

you will see your axes listed in the list below, with sliders for their sensitivities and null zones

for the toe brakes axes, increase sensitivity to max and decrease the null zone to zero

hit OK and happy flying, it should be working from now on
