It makes no sense.
http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/gami ... 2,784.htmlCan anyone tell me if the SLI support in FSX is really that bad? And a GTX 280 loses out to an 8800GTS 512?
I hardly believe anything I see on tom's anymore, but this chart just baffles me.

LOL!!
Its no secret Toms HArdware is stacked has been since I knew the little $hit back in his BBS days before the internet became one big TV Infomercal loaded with nothing but horse manure
but the 768MB 8800 cards actually CAN do better simply because they are horsepower cards and the newer cards are shader engine designed which FSX IS NOT a shader engine based rendering system
Still.. the 280 will do better than the 8800GTX 768 all the way around IF and only IF you pair it up with a system like i7 and clock it but it wont lead by a massive amount
Its also very well known SLi does not give you anything in FSX other that higher res AA ability on very large resolutions... other than that you may see a frame or 2 more... not worth it for FSX

Really? Well that's surprising.
