I'm planing to get a GTX285, and a 850watt Corsair PSU.  
I'm ditching my 750watt P.O.S. Zalman PSU. It drops voltages like none other...
Do you think this would crate a bottle neck? My specs are EVGA 750i FTW, with Q6600 G0 2.4GHz @ 3.2, and 4GB of Corsair DDR2 800 4-4-4-12-2T.
I have good frames with frames locked at 25 I get stutters, not many but they are big.

It should be ok but with a 285 you should be at 4GHz so you have a lot more video card than CPU

the short answer is yes its a bit of a bottleneck and no you are right at the edge ... its a lot more card than CPU


also.. tune FSX right too
