Download nHancer and use Nick's settings for AA (sticky in the FSX forum) and uncheck the box for AA in your FSX settings. ;)

Not significantly but it will reduce stutters. I also have an 8800GT (similar specs, too) and I use all of Nick's tweak including AA and AF etc and I can max everything (except weather and traffic) and lock frames at 21 and it will all be smooth as silk. ;)

Give leaving the AA on in FSX and ticking the "Enhance in game AA" in nHancer. I find it gives me the exact same quality, but up to a 10 FPS performance increase when flying. You may find differently, but I'm happy using it.

All you did was override Nhancer completely

dont use this method if you want full AA support

Ticking "enhanced' is the same as ticking AA in the sim as it removes AA from things like autogen and other areas which will start showing jagged lines and shimmers on better monitors

Ticking AA in FSX will only AA certain parts of the image through a DX flag and although it is the only way to use AA in DX10, in DX9 doing so will make a difference in image quality. If you are using Nhancer you do not want AA ticked in FSX

One day you guys will learn that expanding on what I posted for settings does not net you what you think it does.

I thought you completely followed Nick's guides at the FSX forums  :-?
