GTX280 and 6+2 pin PCIe connector
Posted: Sat Dec 20, 2008 2:56 pmFor the GTX280, is it ok to use the 6+2 pin PCIe connector on the PCP&C silencer 750 power supply in place of a true 8 pin? I read conflicting reports.

Posted: Sat Dec 20, 2008 4:05 pmIt does come with a 2-6pin into 1-8pin adaptor but the instructions say that should only be a temporary solution and not to use it permanantly. Is that True?
