Posted: Fri Dec 19, 2008 9:47 pmYou bought an OEM computer which means you are probably stuck when it comes to doing anything in the BIOS. If they do not offer the setting BCLOCK you an't goin nowhere on that processor, ever and its the best you will ever do
As for memory.. becasue you have an OEM system I dont know if they even allow speed options for it.. therefore what you buy for that system may be a total waste of money other than making sure you have 3 sticks of memory of equal speed... what that speed is for that Gateway OEM I cant tell you
its either going to be 1066 or 1333.. nothing more
So in your case you boned yourself by buying a Gateway unless they offer better options in the BIOS for CPU BCLOCK and memory speed
