I'm not expert but is it possible to grind the pipe a little-bit to make it fit, i'm sure it wont de-crease preformance ;) And with a heat pipe that close to RAM might be abit hot ;)

It's not what you want to hear but if it's 4g of ram you want and also keep your HS, the best thing to do would be to buy 2x2g sticks.
I don't think you'll be able to "modify" the HS.

yes, 2x2GB is always better to run that 4x1GB...

4x1 typically runs timing high, meaning the memory runs slow


do NOT grind those pipes... they are thin and you will blow right through them

The fix for this is to order 2x2GB and not run 4 sticks

Well i did not think or the RAM but modding the HS ;D
